Soon the new seeds arrive, and it'll be time to start seeds in doors. I've gotten interested in growing heirloom tomatoes. There are so many choices, and you never know how a particle cultivar is going to do in your weather conditions until you trial it a couple of times. I've spent most of the winter sorting through seed catalogs trying to find just the right varieties. Or else I've been reading the Tomatoville forum getting tips from people who know everything about tomatoes. If you like growing tomatoes check it out. There's other gardeng subjects there as well.

Happy growing

Jim
My organic gardening page
faemer gray's gardening page

Snow and other winter things

Not much to do

There's about two feet of snow on the gardens, so there's not much to do. No weeds to pull, insects to fight, or plants to tend. Of course that also means no fresh vegetables to pick and eat :-? .
Time to dig out the catalogs and decide what to grow next year.
